The Hoi An Historic was a beautiful resort-like property with a lovely pool area with lots of loungers. The breakfast was expansive and it was nice to be able to choose between indoor or outdoor dining. The staff was always so friendly. The location of the hotel is excellent for walking to many sites and the old quarter. We were extremely pleased with our choice to stay here.

What a beautiful beach! It’s well lit at night and was active from 6 am to after midnight. If you can do so, book a high floor direct ocean view room with balcony. My only complaint was I found the balcony furniture quite uncomfortable. But oh that view! I also appreciated “little things” at this hotel, such as the Mitsubishi elevators. They’re so quiet and dampered that you don’t even realize you’re moving as you go up and down in them.

This our third time at the Rex . They really make the effort for a nice stay . The pool is perfect , the am breakfast is extensive and tasty . The location in the heart of D1 surpasses staying at the VINhome complex ( we have done that as well )

Well equipped room. Friendly staff. Great service. My only negatives were that the pool vibe was pretty low energy until late night and a manager promised a room upgrade with windows (I had 1 window looking at a wall). And the upgrade never happened after 2+ week stay
