"Have received a particularly special service at this hotel. I enjoyed my night booked here, so decided to book another 2 nights. This morning, the phone in my room rang and I was offered a room upgrade, for free. I had a look, a nicer room but decided to stay where I was, which I understand now, was an upgrade itself! A maid just (12pm) brought round a plate of fruit, just when I was thinking about going to get something to eat. I might have to stay another couple of nights!!"

"The property had what I required and was fairly basic but accommodated my needs as it was clean. The staff are so amazing and very helpful, and such kind humans. I was able to get my laundry done which was amazing. The room I was in didn’t have a mini fridge but that was ok for a few days. The air conditioner wasn’t in the best condition but did a good enough job. This wasn’t a huge issue but when it was hot there were tiny little ants but they were harmless. Just make sure no food or drinks...

![Ky Dai is a fortress in front of the Citadel.  Over the years this flag pole has been destroyed by Mother nature and by war. But here it stands again 37 metres high or 121 feet.  We walked through the Citadel,  but this was a nice spot to have a packed lunch and imagine what this place was like back in the reign of 6th Gia Long (1807).

"Here is my honest opinion about Ancient Hue Garden House. It is immaculate. The staff are incredibly welcoming, the grounds are beautiful, the free foot massage was amazing. I have only one complaint. If you are fine with waiting, you will be waiting awhile, as the staff lack the ability to communicate efficiently with each other and they are a shade slow. From ordering a drink, to ordering an extra towel, you will be waiting awhile. If you are fine with the slow and tranquil pace this place offers, you will love it. For me, a tad too slow to meet my every need, and trust me, they will meet your every need. It's beautiful, and cannot be beat for kindness, beauty and genuine care for their guests. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, just to understand that things move at a slightly slower pace. It doesn't detract from the place itself and if anything, works to slow you down, take things at a more reasonable speed and to help you learn to enjoy the moment. I wish I had booked a longer stay. "
