Vancouver Island Fishing Vacations

I was expecting a lot more for the price. While the cleaning staff were wonderful and helpful, the front desk team was pretty standoffish. We were not able to use the fire pits or the boat rentals during our stay. Overall this did not live up to the price point.

There are some renos and work being done around the property but the value was incredible. A 2 room 4 bed loft room 100ft from the ocean for less than 300$/night. the same price I paid for a 3 star airport motel in Nanaimo. Our family of 6 often has to boom two rooms so we always appreciate larger rooms and suites. I suspect prices must go way up in the off-season or once the renos are done as it is currently an absolute steal.

We had a great stay, the hotel was clean, nicely decorated. The staff was lovely. Theres a bag check option before and after check in/out. The breakfast was awesome and the staff was very attentive. Its less than a 10 min walk from the ferry terminals and 10-15 into downtown depending on where you are trying to go.

The hotel is lovely. Everything looks/feels new. The view from our room was awesome. Staff was friendly. The restaurant downstairs is rightly known as one of Victoria's best. And the spa is a treat.
