Staff was amazing throughout. View was beautiful as well and the room was clean and just as described. The only negative was the walk to the beachfront access which was was only about a 20 yard walk, so wasn’t too bad. The meals served at the rooftop restaurant were also excellent. The service from the staff was by far the best though.

Our stay at Beloved Playa Mujeres was truly amazing. From the moment we arrived, everything slowed down in the best way possible. The resort is beautiful, but more importantly, it feels calm and intentional. You never feel rushed, never feel crowded. Whether you are walking along the beach early in the morning, sitting by the pool in the afternoon, or heading to dinner in the evening, there is a sense of peace that stays with you the entire time. What we loved most is that the resort never felt crowded. There was always space. Space to relax, space to breathe, space to actually disconnect. You are not competing for chairs, not waiting around, not dealing with noise. It feels like the kind of place you go when you truly want a real break. The service is what makes the experience come alive. It is not just that it is top notch, it is that it feels real. At El Mar, Victor made every meal feel like something to look forward to. The setting, the ocean, the pace of the service, it all comes together in a way that makes you want to stay a little longer. We had the pleasure of having Alfonso as our waiter at both El Mar and Lupita, and he was outstanding. Attentive, funny, and engaging in a way that never felt forced. The kind of person who reads the table perfectly and makes the experience feel personal. By the pool, Elvis was incredible. He is out there all day in the sun, moving constantly, checking in on guests, delivering drinks, keeping things flowing, and somehow doing it

I am not one for writing reviews; however, after reading what I now believe to be several unfair reviews in criticism of the resort, I felt strongly about posting regarding my experience. It should be understood that we stayed in room 922, an oceanfront room on the preferred side of the resort. Our bags were taken to our rooms, and check-in was seamless at the preferred lounge where we had drinks and snacks while we waited for others to check in. Our rooms were ready when we arrived and was clean. If we needed something, it was provided. Our air conditioner kept the room cool and dry. We ate at most on-site restaurants, and were pleasantly surprised with the quality and presentation for an all-inclusive resort. We also ordered room service which was timely and really very good. We had six in our group and were always able to find chairs together on the beach and at the pool. The beach was clean, but bring water shoes if you plan on getting into the water. The shore is rocky, and people were struggling a decent amount getting into and out of the water without shoes. I had a massage and facial at the spa, which was fine and relaxing, but would probably skip the spa next time. While all-inclusive, we did tip all staff and servers over the week, which may have resulted in ‘perks’ and more attention along the way. My least favorite was the buffet, but I am in general, not a fan of buffets. Overall, great week and would go again.

Spa and Staff at Montecristo Spa were SPECTACULAR as was the Spa itself. I went 2 days in a row and both experiences exceeded expectations.

The grounds were absolutely beautiful especially noticeable during our nightly walks. Food for the most part was really good (4.5), although wish there was a better variation for lunch. Drinks were great and not watered down like in most resorts. There was a wonderful variety of things to do which made staying 7 days feel short. Given the price I paid ( not cheap), I would rate my experience a 4.5 but averaging up as half stars aren't accepted and feel a 4 rating would not do this resort justice. Would definitely consider going again. My only beef, unrelated to the resort experience, is that all subsequent ads I've received for Excellence resorts quote prices in USD (instead of CAD) which is always more expensive once I do the conversion than booking through a Cdn site.

No me gusto que estaban construyendo. Y que no usaban el teatro para las actividades. Cada cual tenía que cargar su asiento fuera del teatro. La noche Mejicana fue excelente.
