I would give this hotel 4 stars maximum

Grand hotel is built in 1930, but it's renovated nicely. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms areclean and with comfortable beds. Breakfast menu with both local and continental selections.

Dining at lucky noodles took 35 minutes for meals and appetizer ordered was still not ready but tried to serve the meal , so appetizer order was cancelled. Need to request for each water refill. Felt ignored. Requested for a booth was told none available although we can see there were few available and most table were empty. Paid cash and more or less 10 min later no change returned so just left. Otherwise food was good!

The staff and the property is superb, we will definitely come back here in the future.

Outside food is not allowed which kind of sucks and the place reeks of smoke. Rooms come with some refreshments and overall clean but the cigarette smell is just too much. Not so sure if its a 5 star for me.
