This is a mixed hotel residence with a PRIME location in the financial area and blocks from waterfront and convention center. Very tight and secure. Nice clean quiet rooms. Many food options within 1 block.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, with impressive architecture, thoughtfully curated artwork, and elegant furnishings that create a luxurious atmosphere. The property is well maintained, and the overall experience felt upscale. There were, however, a few disappointments. The TV in our room wasn't working, and although someone came to look at it, the repair process took so long that we eventually gave up. It's a small issue, but not what you'd expect from a hotel at this price point. Be aware that the nightly cost is significantly higher than the advertised room rate. Once the mandatory resort fee and valet parking are added, it works out to roughly an extra $150 per night. If you're hoping for a relaxing afternoon by the pool, keep in mind that around 5 p.m. the pool was packed with children, making it difficult to enjoy. The hot tub was also at full capacity. The entire pool area felt much more geared toward families with young kids than guests looking for a quiet, resort-style experience. Despite these issues, we really appreciated the beauty of the property and its unique design.

3rd stay at Grandville Island Hotel. Love being on the island. Restaurant with great food. Very clean. Rooms slightly small but very comfortable.
