« We had a perfect weekend stay. The house was clean and comfy. It had a pretty view from the deck. We woke up to deer in the yard. The house had everything we needed for a weekend of soccer away from home. »

Only minor issues/suggestions are that the decks and stairs could really use some spider web cleaning, the hide-a-bed is very uncomfortable, and the inside cleaning could be a bit more thorough. Overall we enjoyed the property immensely and are looking forward to renting again. « Overall, the house is great, property very nice. Doors are squeaky and definitely need WD-40, the stairs are very squeaky and the railing is a little wobbly. Stairs very slippery. I would say the listing is inaccurate. No barbecue was listed, called and asked if a barbecue was present they told me no but yet a barbecue was there so that was a little annoying. « My son was in a wedding at Firebrand which was right around the corner from the house so it was perfect! This house is one of a kind! The love and care given to the house is evident in all the extra details. The woodwork is gorgeous, all done with local wood. There are some very neat antiques around the house. The yard of the cabin was amazing - deer and turkeys, the gazebo - quiet and gave you a feeling of being secluded but close to CDA. We miss having morning coffee on the picnic table. « It was a great cabin experience. We enjoyed our stay there. After booking with VRBO I realized they are booking via Vacasa. I would recommend booking it from Vacasa to save VRBO platform fees. The cabin was nestled in the mountains in Schweitzer. It had all amenities but the one that was unexpected was they provided coffee machine but do not provide coffee grounds or filters. So carry them with you if you plan to brew your coffee. »
