Sunshine or snow this cozy home will serve as the perfect home base for all your North Idaho adventures. Close to beautiful Downtown Sandpoint, Lake Pend Oreille, and a short drive to Schweitzer Ski Resort you can spend your days taking in all the sites and experiences you can only find in Sandpoint. Arriving at this quaint home you will enjoy the warmth and soft light of the electric fireplace as you curl up on the cozy couch with a blanket and your favorite book or movie. Enjoy preparing a home-cooked meal in our fully stocked kitchen or go out to some of the amazing restaurants Sandpoint has to offer. We cannot wait for you to enjoy our little slice of the inland northwest. It's one of our favorite places and we love being able to share it!

Great spot

Great location with quick drive to mountain. Kitchen was well stocked and house warmed up quickly while snowing outside!!

Clean, comfortable & convenient

Great place to stay while on a work visit to the Sandpoint area. Nicely stocked with drinks and snacks. Neighborhood isn't amazing, but it's a convenient location to Sandpoint. Host is great.

Great Weekend Getaway

My teenage son and I spent the weekend here. We spent most of the time out on the water, but really enjoyed this cozy space to come back to. The neighborhood was quiet and it’s really close to everything! While outside was very hot all weekend, the inside stayed nice and cool.

4th of July

While we initially had some struggles with the key pad, the owner was super responsive and rectified the issue quickly. We found the accommodations to be clean, comfortable, exactly what we needed. We also enjoyed reading and relaxing in the lawn chairs out the back. A couple special touches to welcome us were also pleasant surprises.

Mini vacation

House is a recent remodel. Clean with the exception of some dirt in a dresser in a bedroom. Great communication with host. Shower is small but functional. I feel front door needs to be replaced with a solid metal door but I did not feel unsafe in the neighborhood.

Short stay in Ponderay

Overall our stay was wonderful. The location for what we needed was perfect. The beds were so cozy and comfortable. The hosts left so many snacks and drinks which was something I would say sets them apart from a lot of other rentals I’ve stayed in. Kitchen/Living room/bedrooms were spotless. Rental includes an oven/stove, dishwasher, Keurig, microwave, and in the summer you could use the AC unit. The hosts had board games and a smart TV which had streaming options. My only complaints are - the unit was COLD. It felt like there wasn’t much insulation or enough heat sources. The front door seemed to be a door that was meant for an interior of a house. There was a visible gap to the outside underneath which could’ve contributed to the cold temperatures. The bathroom however did have a separate switch for an in ceiling heater which was lovely. The bathroom was clean for the most part except for the shower pan. It looked visibly dirty. The shower is very small and wasn’t the most comfortable to shower in. I wouldn’t say that’s a deal breaker - it might be nice for future guests if a photo of the bathroom is included.The hosts left a card - chocolate - and a laminated instructions sheet that included a few local spots for food/drinks which was also a nice touch. WiFi worked well and there was plenty of room for our 4 guest party. I would 10/10 recommend this rental and with a few improvements it could only get better! I would stay here again if I ever come back.

Cute small cabin. We had some business in town and this cabin was affordable and had everything we needed.Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked.

We had no trouble getting in using the code provided and everything in the main area was just as the pictures showed. The bathroom had hairs on the floor and the shower has 2 separate plastic curtains on a curved corner curtain rod. As a result, the shower space is tight and it can be difficult to keep the water contained, especially with small children. We were disappointed by the lack of a toaster but made do with the stove top. I was not able to reach the host through the VRBO app. The garbage bin outside was overflowing when we arrived. Dishwasher worked great. Air conditioning kept the house cool even in midsummer. The beds were comfortable and didn't squeak. Overall, our stay was fine since we spent most of our time exploring all that Sandpoint has to offer but this stay felt overpriced for the quality and cleanliness of the home.
