"Only a 4-night stay, but it was the perfect amount of time to enjoy this area of Michigan and get some local adventures in from.The Rogue River is a great spot for recreation. Saw probably 100 kayakers and fishers over the 4 days we were at the place. You need to book ahead as the local kayak renters can be busy. Don't forget about downtown Rockford too! Wonderfully quaint area with a beautiful dam landscape and plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy. Rockford Brewing was a favorite.Was surprised how close to the main road the location was, but it didn't detract from our time. Actually enjoyed the motorcycles rumbling by from time to time. Talking with the kayakers was a joy as well. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage.The view of the lake from the deck was beautiful and we loved experiencing nature both in the yard and while kayaking on the lake!The cottage itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed."

"Overall, the property was great. Location on the lake was amazing and the house was lovely! We had 4 adults and 4 13/14 year old boys. The boys enjoyed fishing and swimming. The adults enjoyed the deck and relaxing. The house was clean and perfect for our group. The kitchen had all items needed for cooking, plus extra comfort items such as things for coffee and s'mores. There were plenty of towels and linens. Carrie was great to communicate with and was available during our stay if we needed anything. Great location for a relaxing weekend or stay longer and enjoy breweries in Grand Rapids. I would highly recommend this property."

"Very basic hotel. The normal assortment of breakfast items, including pancakes. They don’t have a fitness center that is on site but staying there gives you access to the fitness club down the street which has more than we could ever get from a hotel. "

"Had a nice long weekend stay. Meet our adult daughter and her fiancé for some family time.The lake house was just as pictured. Everything was labeled. They had more than expected for us to use. Everything we needed. Beach towels, Suntan lotion, mosquito spray, games, Keurig, etc. The couch and the beds were very comfortable. We swam in the lake every day. There are boats to rent, but since we didn’t have the experience we decided not to. Maybe next time. Thanks for a great time. "

"I do not think the pictures actually do this home justice. The views are amazing. There is so much space for kids and adults. The screened in porch was so amazing. The whole family loved swimming and using diving boards. The home was clean and stocked. Very happy with our experience. It was very private and relaxing. 5 "
