This bright and airy lakefront home in Lowell, Michigan is the perfect getaway for families, friend groups, or anyone seeking relaxation, fun on the water, and cozy evenings by the fire. The house features 3 comfortable, spacious bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with a queen, and one with four twin beds (2 bunks, twin, and trundle)—plus a pack 'n play and a twin rollaway bed for extra sleeping space. There are two full bathrooms: one with a shower and one with a shower/bathtub. A washer and dryer are also available for guest use. Step outside to enjoy the best of lake life! The home offers multiple outdoor spaces to make the most of your stay. A large wrap-around deck off the main level provides lake views, a gas grill, and plenty of space for lounging or dining. Below that, a brick patio offers a covered retreat on rainy days. Down by the water, you’ll find a separate lakeside deck with a fire pit—the perfect place for roasting marshmallows or stargazing while the frogs sing to you. The house sits at the mouth of a peaceful channel that opens into Murray Lake’s liveliest coves. I’ve stayed at many VRBOs and Airbnbs—this one ranks at the very top.The home was spotless, even better than the photos, and the check-in process was seamless. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. My wife said it best: “This place feels warm and friendly, like they genuinely enjoy having people stay.” Every detail—big and small—was thoughtfully considered.One standout feature was a well-organized binder with clear instructions, local restaurant menus, and a history of both Murray Lake and the home. It gave us a deeper appreciation for the property and its story.A favorite moment: the complimentary s’mores station by the outdoor propane fire pit—simple, memorable, and reflective of the care put into every aspect of the home.We absolutely loved our stay and plan to return next year.
