"When first approaching the property my initial thought was “ oh boy, I paid a lot for this!” The outside appeared small and old but everything else about it was great. Clean, very friendly front desk people, quiet, comfortable. The room was updated and had great water pressure in the shower, spacious room and very comfortable beds. ( I also realized that if I had looked at all the pictures on the page I would have seen exactly what I was purchasing. I had a mental image of a HJ being a large high rise kind of hotel. Also, while I feel I paid a lot for one room, it was also the least expensive in the area.)"

"This Vacation Village is amazing, returning this week for a little time away. Stayed last week for work and came home and planned a 3 day trip based on the location. "

"This is an old-fashioned motel with some limitations — no elevator, small bathrooms, etc. But it is the cleanest place I have ever stayed, has been updated over time, has comfortable beds, offers a good breakfast, and enjoys a nice location next to a stream with outdoor seating. The only real drawback to our stay was an overly noisy air conditioner."

The old school pool is great with a real deep end, the rooms are cute, kitschy and comfortable and the proximity to our fave bfast spot and good hikes is great. The outdoor space is good for hanging out to read, socialize or watch the birds. We dig it here and qlcome the character of the place!! "
