A short lancha ride from Pana to Tzununa and you feel “off the beaten path”. Just about 1/4 mi Tuk-Tuk ride up the dirt road and you see a white, modern structure that occupies both sides of the street. The resort itself is absolutely stunning. The views of the lake and volcanos are commanding. They spared no expense. Quality throughout. The patio made for a great meditation space (the unit had 2 yoga mats). The Starlink internet speed was blazing and without dead zones (perfect for digital nomads). The restaurant is stunning with a fantastic menu and Chef is world-class. Marcela (the owner) and Sebastian are super nice and helpful, assuring you have everything you need. You can also ask about the fungi academy that is walking distance to see the most interesting species of mushrooms. We will be back. It is the perfect getaway from the stressful world. Came back home maximally relaxed after staying at Aviva!

The good - the property has beautiful lawn and a nice pool. Staff was helpful. They have a free shuttle that takes you about a kilometer and drops you close to Central Park. Breakfast was good. The bad - the building is pretty run down. The toilet was very dirty and we had to request room change. In new room bathroom got clogged and had yellow water. They tried and somewhat fixed it, but I think they have old plumbing issue. They charge cars about $3 for parking. It can be validated for taxis dropping and picking you. But not all taxis know it and it creates confusion with taxis refusing to come to the premises.

The hotel is beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I ate ate the onsite restaurant and the food was delicious and very affordable!

Everything was great including the included breakfast which was phenomenal.
