The location & private onsen were the only positives to this hotel stay. The area is beautiful and fun to explore if you rent a bike for the day! This hotel however was dirty & uncomfortable. Prepare yourself for stairs because there are no elevators. The room we stayed in had mold behind the tub (the tub was not sealed so the wall behind was getting wet). The shower curtain was moldy. The AC unit was also very dirty & moldy. The bedding was stained & the bed was very uncomfortable. We could hear the TV in the next room & every door closing. When we went to use the laundry (which we had to pay for & for soap), the laundry room (open to the outside) was overcome by flying ants, mosquitoes, and beetles. It was nearly impossible to wash my clothes while constantly swatting away bugs & unsuccessfully trying to keep them out of the washer & dryer. I complained & when we came back the bugs were gone and the door was closed, but I have no idea why that wasn’t taken care of before we complained. At the end of our stay, we wanted to forward our large suitcase full of souvenirs to our next hotel. They had us fill out the form, which seemed odd as at the other hotels in Japan, the staff would handle that for us. After filling out the paper, we asked how much it would be, which the staff member answered not to worry about it. We were skeptical, but left anyway. Only to find out he had sent it for “cash on arrival”. So the suitcase was not at our next hotel when we arrived.

ここは下田で1番好きなホテルです。 全部屋に露天風呂があるし夕食も朝食も本当に美味しいです。 スタッフさんは外国人が多いですけどおもてなしは最高にしてくれます。 あんまり勧めたくない…だって満室になったら私が困るから😂😂😂 またぜひ泊まらせて下さいね🙌🙌🙌

別荘感覚で落ち着く

相手が体調不良で、イマイチ快適ではなかったのでフルに楽しむ事が出来なかったけど食事も種類が沢山あり、サウナも次回は使用してみたいと思います。露天風呂付きで朝日🌅が見えてとても良い。連泊した方が場所も温泉質も良かったので又機会があれば行きたい場所で、やはり伊豆はこの辺が好みの場所で素敵です。

温泉好きなら泊まるしかない！

チェックインの時の対応が、外国人のスタッフだと思いますが、すごく親身で荷物もないのに部屋まで案内してくださいました。 温泉の泉質もよく、また部屋（ベランダ）にも24時間入れる温泉の浴槽があり、温泉好きの私には最高の宿でした。 また、こじんまりした宿ですので、のんびりくつろげました。

建物の古さは、所々で感じます。ワンちゃん連れで行く方の出入口壊れていて女性だと開けれないレベル、改修してください、リブマックスの食事は、期待してませんが、下田の食事は、よかったです。夕飯も朝食も美味しかったです。女性用の風呂は、脱衣所の使い勝手が良くないようで、誰かがドライヤーを使っていると着替えが出来ない！と妻が言ってました。フロントの方実習生なのでしょうか。大きな目で見て対応よかったです。頑張ってください、総合的に見てよかったです。

非常に残念

温泉の露天風呂がついている部屋を予約しました。 共同風呂は24時までと、翌朝6時～の利用が可能で、部屋風呂は24時間利用可となっていました。 部屋風呂が利用客が重なる時間帯は温めになることもある、とありましたが、ぬるいどころじゃなく完全に水でした。 夜お湯を溜め始めた直後は熱かったお湯が、湯船半分も入った頃には温くて風邪引きそうな温度に。排水溝も詰まってて、ベランダがプール状態。 諦めて翌朝入ろうとしたら、やはり完全に水。しかたなく共同風呂に1回行きましたが、温泉宿にした意味がありませんでした。 フロントには言いましたが「申し訳ございませんでした」で終わりです。 これなら部屋風呂なくても大きなお風呂がある、もっと観光に便利なところにしておけばよかった。 部屋自体は、ベッドの枕元にコンセントあり、iPhoneの充電も可能、天井も高く、狭いけど上手く工夫されていて、机がないことを除けばいい感じだったので、よけいに残念でしかたありませんでした。 防音性は期待できません。廊下の話し声も聞こえるし、隣の部屋のテレビの音も筒抜けです。

Great hotel close to beach

Great place to stay. Hotel is in a secluded spot with great views and facilities. Sitting down in the onsen bath overlooking the ocean after a hard day travelling. Could not think of anything better. Only small down side is that you need to drive to access restaurants, and convenience stores. Hotel has a restraunt but need to pre book so plan for this. Highly recommend this place to anyone. A bit of planning and last minute shopping for items before you arrive and you’re set at this place to have a really nice stay. Thanks to all the staff.

Nice small onsen in the room;)

吉佐美大浜で遊んだ後、向かいました。歩いて15分くらいで着き、ちょっと早めでしたがチェックインできました！ お部屋は小さいけれどバルコニーに温泉があり、素敵なお部屋でした。部屋からは海も見えました！ 朝ごはんは満足でしたが外国人が食べやすいものをもう少し増やしたらいいと思いました！ また機会があったら是非泊まりたいです！！

別荘地の入口近くに立つホテルです。 龍宮窟やビーチまで歩いて行けました。 建物は古いですが綺麗に改装されておりすごし易く 接客も良かったです。
