End unit with tons of natural light! New constuction 3 bd, 2.5b a end unit villa Bay view from loft, upstairs bedroom, and second floor balcony. 1st floor master bedroom suite w/tray ceiling, on-suite bathroom features spa shower with dual heads and riverock stone tile. Large dinning room opens to kitchen with upgraded gray shaker cabinets, quartz counters with island and bar leading into the family room and sun room with high ceilings and private views of woods. 2 bedrooms are upstairs with full bath and loft. Rear paver patio, front covered and open air porches offer multiple outdoor areas. Just 3 miles from the beach at the Delaware/Maryland line. The community clubhouse has a gym and the outdoor pool is fun for all ages. Restaurants and grocery stores located nearby.

Great House and Location

The house is awesome. All the amenities needed to eat every meal at home. Great pool, private beach and private pier. The local residents were very kind and welcoming even though I wasn't a resident. The location is perfect. 15 minutes south to the OC Boardwalk and 20 minutes north to Rehoboth Boardwalk. Communication was great with the owner. Would definitely return.

Perfect vacation home!

We had such a wonderful trip. Kids loved the house and all the amenities! We were able to crab and they thoroughly enjoyed the pool! Short trip to the beach and tons of restaurants close by. We had everything we needed for eating in as well. Mike made sure we k ew to reach out to him for anything but we had everything we could possibly need!

Great home away from home!

We enjoyed the property and it was a nice home away from home. Great community, access to neighborhood amenities (clubhouse and pool). Definitely would stay here again. When the owner says the house has a fully stocked kitchen, it did have almost everything needed to prepare a meal in the home. Great stay!

Nice Townhouse, Great Pool, Enjoyed Our Stay!

We had a nice stay at this townhouse. The pool complex really makes this subdivision stand out as a rental. The pool/beach/gym/clubhouse area was excellent!! Probably the best pool I've had at a rental. It's very close to everything on Fenwick Island, and good proximity for farther visits to Ocean City MD, Bethany Beach, Dewey, Rehoboth, etc. Mike was easy to contact and communicative. A few points that made me give it 4 stars instead of 5. First, there were some missing supplies that we felt should've been there (extra toilet paper, paper towels, sponges, kitchen trash bags, dishwasher detergent). Just make sure you do a thorough review of everything you need when you check in. Second, the upstairs kids bunk bed was loose and wobbly, and the upstairs twin and queen mattresses weren't great (downstairs mattress was nice). Still, everyone slept fine, so not a huge deal. Third, be aware that this subdivision is off of the main road leading into Fenwick Island. That road gets really backed up with traffic in the summer, so make sure to check travel times on GPS in advance. We were there July 4th, so not surprisingly, there was traffic everywhere. Just something to be aware of when booking in this general area. Last nitpicky thing, the check-in key was hidden behind bushes in the yard and hard to find when I arrived at night in the rain. Have a flashlight on hand and shoes you can wear through grass to find it if you're arriving at night. Overall, a very nice stay and comfortable for our family of 4 and our friends' family of 3! Would consider staying here again in the future!

Summer vacation early June

We had a wonderful week at the beach. The house is perfectly located - minutes from downtown Fenwick Island, with many really good restaurants nearby. We ate out at Capt. Mac's Fish House twice-both for the food and for the great atmosphere. It is casual with great bayside view overlooking a wetlands and an active osprey nest. It is also convenient to Bethany Beach and O.C. The house is beautifully appointed and spacious. we had plenty of room to spread out and spend time together as a family. I would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed house in a good location. The neighborhood is also great for riding bikes and running. The pool is beautiful as well.

Excellent Experience!

My family and I stayed for a week and loved our stay very much. The house was exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable, and had everything you could think of to make the stay pleasurable and feel homey. The community pool and private bay/beach were added bonuses for our family and we made good use of it, especially having 3 children. The location is excellent, few minutes away from Ocean City, 15 minutes to Bethany Beach, 30 minutes to Dewey and Rehoboth Beaches. We will definitely be returning! The owner was very responsive and helpful. Thank you Michael for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with my family.

Family get away

The property was lovely. Clean, bright and perfect for a family of five. The owner always responded when I reached out to him. He helped us with some restaurant recommendations and it was outstanding. The place is brighter than the photos! Location is excellent not too close to OC. We will visit again!

Excellent home and location

This home is located in a Wonderful neighborhood Close to beaches and entertainment. The owner was incredibly responsive and answered every question promptly. Very easy to work with and a lovely home. I highly recommend this home for families or even a nice couples getaway. There is a lot to do for children as well as adults.

Great location, beautiful home

The property was great and had all the necessary amenities both within the home and in the community. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. There is plenty of space for a larger family, we were just a family of 4. With the scare of covid the community center had some new rules and regulations but they were not a inconvenience. The pool is huge and access to the bay is a wonderful add on. Shelbyville was the perfect location for a quiet getaway but within minutes to the beach. A great vacation spot.

Great House in a Fabulous Neighborhood!

This was our third time staying in The Overlook, but our first time staying at this property, and it was perfect for our family for a three week stay in August. We have three children, and our oldest has multiple special needs, so we look for houses that are minimally decorated. This one doesn't have a lot of extras, which we appreciated. But, while the decor was minimalistic, the house had everything we could have possibly needed. I have to say this was one the best equipped kitchens of any of our rentals! And the popcorn popper and popcorn were a nice touch, and a fun way to spend a family movie night while we were there. If you're not familiar with the neighborhood, The Overlook is wonderful -- not overwhelming like Bayside, and still just as close to everything you need, and everywhere you want to go. The pool is hardly ever crowded, and we love being right on the bay (although could do without the flies that sometimes attack). My youngest had fun going down to the dock to look for crabs, fish, and he even saw a turtle. The clubhouse at the pool is great with large restrooms, showers, and a very nice gym, which you have access to with your key fob. The owners were great to work with and responded quickly to any needs we had, and I wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again. I know will definitely be back at The Overlook next summer, and the only reason we would not go back to this house is if we buy our own!

Awesome!

Really spacious townhome located in a development w great amenities (pool, health club, public fire pit). Owner was super responsive to all questions and requests, kitchen had everything we needed. Only negatives, and these are a little silly, but there were no hangers in any closets and there was no “informational book” about the house, clubhouse, trash, check out specifics, local area, etc. (we thought that would’ve been helpful.). Good location w plenty close by.

A great short getaway

Our family of 5 had the perfect stay in Fenwick. Our small children enjoyed the pool and little sandy Bay Area to build sandcastles. The house is pristine and beautifully decorated. We are in a quiet neighborhood and everything was a short drive. Perfect for little ones with the Thunder lagoon and Viking gold just a few minutes down the road. We really enjoyed our stay!

Awesome 4th of July Vaca

The house was exactly as advertised and Michael answered any and all questions within minutes of me emailing him. The community is nice, quiet yet active all at the same time. We were 3 miles from the beach on the Atlantic Ocean which while crowded due to the holiday was completely manageable when it came to parking and finding space on the beach. The community pool was great as well. Everything is new and clean and my wife and I plus our two children had a great time. We also went jet skiing and parasailing from a water sports spot a mile from the house. Overall a really nice time.

Awesome stay in Selbyville

This property was very impressive. We have been going to OCMD/Fenwick for 10 years. This was the best property we have stayed at. The house is modern, clean, spacious. Perfect for a family of 4-7. The clubhouse/pool has a beautiful view of the bay. The clubhouse workout facility was also top notch with good equipment. The owner of the property was accessible and friendly throughout our entire stay. We will be going back again!
