Wake up and eat breakfast on the Patio with a view of the Pulaski lighthouse or curl up with a fire.
The house is right on the Salmon River 'Estuary Hole' (guests have EXCLUSIVE access to fish from the bank in front of the property - anyone else needs a boat!), just a few minutes drive from Snowmobile trails in Winter and a 2 minute walk from the beach in the Summer.
It's a perfect getaway year round!
Our delightful riverfront estuary cottage is a step back in time to the 1960's but with wifi, smart tv and all the modern amenities.
On one side you have direct and private river access that you can fish from the bank, and there is beach access just a 5 minute walk around the point with breathtaking lake views.
The cabin is a cute little building with a cozy living room, interior patio, small dining room and 3 little bedrooms, plus a reading nook. There is a separate Laundry Room and Kitchen. Outside there is a good sized yard and two patios, one with a gas grill. You can even drink your morning coffee with a view of the marina and lighthouse.
The main bathroom is downstairs the other side of the kitchen, there is a half bath at the top of the stairs.

You'll need a car or bike to get around.
You can reach Joe by phone almost any time for any issues. If you have any special requests, let us now ahead of time and we will do our best to make them happen!
Right on the 'Estuary Hole' for those Salmon fisherman, Pine grove is a wonderful little community. Mere steps from the Beach and on the river, you have numerous trails nearby including Snowmobile trails just minutes way.
You really don't have to go far to access everything the area has to offer. Only 3 miles from the village of Pulaski with all the usual Amenities, you have a plethora of fishing spots, launch spots and hikes at your fingertips.
You will need a vehicle!
No cleats or waders inside the house, hanging rails are provided in the mudroom.

Great spot to relax, fish, just slow down and enjoy!
Great communication with our host to start, who has a wonderful home. Very comfortable and nicely appointed. We were welcomed with a bottle of Pinot Grigio and some snacks, which was a pleasant surprise after our trip! Sitting at the front bay window surveying the water, birds, plus boats coming and going was SPECTACULAR!! Fishing provided some bites, and a Northern Pike, too. It's close to the beach, maybe a 5 minute walk and there's beautiful Lake Ontario. Collected some agates and other goodies along the way. Friendly, pleasant folks are the norm. Great spot to get away, it was VERY clean and I'm fussy. Leather couches, soft throws, chess board ready to go. As a side note: I am disabled and use a walker, this spot was ok for me to make my way on the lower floor, plus in and out to the patio. There is a front step I needed help traversing. All in all, well maintained, über clean, friendly host and BEST LOCATION! We had a ball and plan on coming back!!

Livin' the dream
We all had an exceptional time at this location...and the location is superb! We found the Pine Grove community to be friendly and helpful to local dining and sightseeing recommendations, but most enjoyed sitting on the front patio overlooking the awesome river view. Would highly recommend this house as the pefect get away, even if the weather interrupts a planned charter trip on the Lake!

Fishing outside front door, beach in the back!
We loved our stay because of its access to the lake and river for fishing! Our boat was at a marina across the river. The cabin was dark. A change in bulbs might help. The outside front and back needed to be cleaned up (weeded etc.) to be more usable. Foil and plastic wrap was not provided and we ran out of paper towels, toilet tissue and needed kitchen garbage bags. Not a huge deal. Queen mattress was hard and might bother some. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The Best of Both Worlds
Right on the river and short walk to the lake! Cottage itself was spic and span. We had an outside concern that was immediately addressed by the owner. Neighbors were so incredibly nice. Absolutely refreshing. Highly recommended. Be sure to take the short drive to the Pond Pit for bbq and to Taco Bob’s for wings!

As good as being home
Everything was ready for us and we didn't need anything other than food and our own creature comforts from home. My kids and grandkids had so much fun. They swam in the lake and fished in the river. It was a great time for my family to get together and spend some time with my father on his birthday. Thank you so much!
