Average stay. Desk staff perfunctory. Guest laundry. Basic fitness room. Fast elevators. Pet friendly; saw lots of dogs. Mini convenience shop with affordable drinks. Portal wifi not compatible with my Chromecast. Bad cell signal, couldn’t Hotspot. Spectrum cable. Inconveniently located. Need to turn left across 6 lanes with no traffic light to access 290 and it was always busy. But a Wegmans and restaurants nearby. Hotel itself was back from main road. Highway noise not noticeable from indoors. We had a king suite with a couch that was a bit dingy. Floor a little dirty. Mini fridge and microwave worked, just no freezer. Trash cans too small but housekeeping daily upkeep was good. Bed linens clean, but found pet hairs when we checked underneath. Comfy though! Lots of pillows. Some USB outlets and ceiling lights didn’t work in my room. No high rod in the closet to hang my floor-length dress, only a low rod for suits. Bathroom seemed clean, but drain would not stay plugged for my son’s bath. Free toiletries were mini shampoo and conditioner, 2 face wipes, and two mini Dove beauty bars. I would have preferred body wash to the shampoo. A couple instant coffees and decaf. Free breakfast was the best part. Decent selection every morning. My 18 month toddler loved the scrambled eggs but they weren’t available everyday. They have self-service waffle makers everybody loved. On weekdays, breakfast was 6-9 and 7-10 on weekends. It would have been nice if open until 10 everyday.

Given the high reviews, we were very surprised by our experience. Toilet got clogged, had to request a room change after checking our bed. All the staff we interacted with were disinterested and minimally helpful. Breakfast was great!

The room had an odd smell - slightly musty, slightly like body odor - and always felt somewhat humid/damp. Otherwise the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The floor was also very quiet which was nice.
