"This was a great location for what we wanted to do. The staff were friendly and nice. The breakfast adequate although nothing hot but water and coffee. The hotel could definitely use an update. It is a little care-worn. Bathroom tub & sink were a little dingy. The beds however were comfy and the rug seemed to be fairly new. We needed to leave a day earlier than anticipated and they were very agreeable & gracious about that. Even though it is situated on the main road into Bar Harbor, we did not hear the noise from traffic."

"Excellent! Solo traveller last minute booking. Quaint, clean, location is close to all shops and restaurants so you can walk and not have to fight for a parking spot. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was superb! They actually cook you breakfast instead of some cellophane wrapped muffins and fruit. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this hidden gem!"
