"Overall, this is a clean and well-run hotel with the exception of my room. The room has been partially remodeled and looks nice while some parts look really outdated, cheap and dirty. There was hair in my sink and tub and mold around the drain that looks like it had been building up for awhile. There’s no way the bathroom had been cleaned before I arrived in my room. If they will cut corners cleaning the bathroom, made me wonder where else they cut corners in cleaning. The food was good, however. We ate at the cafe, the outdoor restaurant and got snacks from the bar while poolside. All great food. Poolside service was promised but nearly non-existent. We had to ask for a server every day. I think maybe they are understaffed. The location is good if you want to be a little out of the busier parts of Ft Lauderdale so I liked that. And there were plenty of great restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. Finally, the website states that self-parking is free but the hotel informed us upon arrival that self-parking was the same cost as valet which makes no sense. I’ve never been to a hotel or self parking in valet is the same price. When I mentioned this to the person who checked me in, she didn’t even respond to me and so that’s why I never mentioned the bathroom issue. I felt that she wasn’t gonna be responsive to that issue, they certainly weren’t gonna be responsive to my bathroom issue so I said nothing. "

"We had a wonderful time there. Easy access to everything including the beach! The staff was great. The pool area is pretty but small so you have to go down early to grab seats. "

"Property was clean and nicely furnished. Good breakfast. The reason for my less than stunning review is two fold 1-check in was really slow and although multiple people were waiting there was only one person at the counter and she didn't seem to attempt to get any assistance. 2- I left a review which included our experiences and reminded people from out of state that this property is on the highway and quite noisy. None of what I wrote should be controversial but surprisingly the property manager decided to challenge my comments rather than use them to try and improve their product. We travel a lot and I can't ever remember getting a response like this to any review that I've ever written."

"Mandatory Valet parking $34 and the valet employee don’t even help you with luggage. Rooms are really bad condition. They gave me room 607 where the AC was making noise and the rug was all wet plus sofa looks so old. Then they move to 604 which it was ok compared to the other one, even though the dryer doesn’t work. For the price of this property I will have stay in a better place. The staff never try to accommodate or offer a discount. Really bad service "

"This was our 3 year coming to this hotel the rooms all have awesome views of the intercoastal and the staff was very accommodating and great each year we have been there will hopefully be back next year "
