"I got there late at 4:30 and check in is at 3:00 and I was told to go wait somewhere that my room was not ready. I said check in is at 3, I be you enforce the check-out time of 11. He said yes, I said I'm tired and I need a room. So he got the manager and a room magically appeared. I did not care for this at all. I got to the room, I have stayed there for 20 years, I did not see any room improvements. I had four vertical blinds on the floor. The sun was going to kill us in the morning. So I called the front desk, they said the guy would be up in 1/2 an hour. We waited, called back he said the guy was there. We said, no one has been to this room. He checked with the guy, and he had gone to the wrong room. He finally came and fixed the verticals. That should have been done before the guests arrived. The hotel was fine, just we did not notice any renovations to the rooms, only to the bar and restaurant area. We did not realize only all valet and extra charge per day for it. They said it is listed on their site. It was an ok stay, location, location, location."

"We booked our stay at this hotel based on the reviews. Our first impression of the hotel was a bit strange. Our interaction with the front desk was very cold. My wife and I felt as we were a bother to the front desk staff as well as the coworkers in the front entrance. No greeting, Not even a hello. The room was ok. Dated! The air conditioning unit was so loud, it would wake me up at night when it went on. Mind you it was just replaced according to the Manager. If you stay at this hotel stay away from room 201. The hotel should never offer this room. The room is located next to the Staff supply closets/ Staff staircase door and the door made a lit of noise when it closed. Again waking me up while sleeping. The rest of the staff---wait staff, Beach staff were friendly. The hotel had a restaurant on the beach that was nice, but the couple of times we ate there, the food was always luke warm or cold. We informed the staff, but nothing ever came of it. I hope the hotels takes this review seriously so they can fix all of the above mentioned. I usually do not write reviews, but I felt I had to.
