"This is the second property I stayed in owned by the same couple. As always, it's above and beyond quality and cleanliness. The advantage here is also that they live very close by and if there is anything I need, they gladly drop it off for me. As I was a return guest, they really went above and beyond to make me comfortable. I requested a yoga mat and it was provided (and many other things). I was surprised that their property was open when I needed it because it's always been booked the previous times when I wanted to stay here. This is so conveniently located - I walked to Hideaways Beach barefoot, the view from the condo is absolutely spectacular and the quietness and peacefulness in this place is unmatched. And I feel so cozy inside, like I am truly at home and since Doug and Lucy take such superb pristine care of their properties, it feels like I'm staying in their home and being cared for by them. My friends who live on island came to hang out 1 night and were also absolutely blown away by the condo as well and made jokes that they'll stay here with me. By far the, this is the best quality of vacation rental on island. And I've stayed in MANY places all over Kauai. When I'm returning to Kauai, I always check Lucy and Doug's properties first (they both have ocean views ;-))."

"The welcoming staff was very thorough and friendly! One day after spending time at the beautiful pool, the staff were serving shaved ice!! Yum! Our condo was spotless and had everything we needed! The internet was good at all times. It was nice to have the food trucks available daily. We didn’t have much of a view which was disappointing!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our visit was not long after the hurricane where it was uncertain if power would be on prior to our stay. The property manager worked hard to line up a back up for us and remained very flexible up to the time when it was clear this condo would have power, only a few days before we were scheduled to arrive. We found the condo to be very comfortable, very clean and well appointed. We would have appreciated air conditioning but the fans helped some. And pictures don’t show that there is a road and other condos you see from the patio, but we still found the location to be very peaceful and quiet."

"Amazing view, unit was very clean, well equipped, and just delightful. Traveled with 2 kids and Hideaway beach being so close was a real treat. You can see waterfalls from the parking lot up on the mountains. Princeville grocery store has some great sushi. Host was very responsive, even around the uncertain weather as our trip approached."

"The views from this place are awesome, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The host was responsive with suggestions. The location was perfect with walking distance to Queens Bath trail and snorkeling beach access without having to drive. Very nice neighborhood for evening strolls. Just a short drive to Anini Beach snorkeling. You are up high overlooking the ocean, facing somewhat west so the sunsets over the water with Napali coast green cliifs at the side were wonderful. I work remotely a few hours a day and the little work desk had the most beautiful view of any office space I've had. It was frustrating that the internet did not work for half of our stay and the wifi signal was just barely strong enough to use my cell hotspot (Verizon). Fortunately we had brought our Roku so that we could watch some sports shows at night. Good restaurant and farmers market suggestions. We had a great time. Red Hot Mamas has the best pork burrito, they should be added to the recommended eating places."
