"It was a good experience, all the staff including frontdesk, cleaning and restaurant were very helpful. The room was clean with good facilities, free laundry services (4 washing and 4 dry machines). The breakfast was great with Chinese and western flavors. Location of the hotel is convenience, less than 70m from MTR station. will stay again"

"Central location suitable for downtown shopping and within walking distance to the West Lake, breakfast is more geared towards oriental taste. The bathroom in the standard room is a bit tight if you’re if larger size. The staff are keen and helpful. Great green tea leaves in room."

"Lousy check in. Need to fight for a simple shower which I booked as special requests. Hotel looks nice for the lobby. Rooms are ok but older. Towels are fringed out. Everything is around 15 to 20 years old heavy used but well maintained. As money is the religion in China, is it same in this hotel. Hotel is prepaid and they want to have additional deposit of double hotel price. I really don't like this behaviour. Will not go again. There are better and nicer hotels in Hangzhou."

"Surprisingly good location for West lake and nearby shopping stripe. Located in a quiet street, there is a night market just opposite on the road, and walking distance to West lake in 10 mins. Not your 4 star room, but comfort for a night stay. Facilities are a bit dated but checked-in was smoothand easy, the check-in instructions were clear."

"It looks like the property is undergoing some renovations. Check-in was done by someone at the reception counter who cannot speak English. He came upto our room, but the key card was not working. We had to go back to the reception to get another card for another room. Wifi password was provided only after we asked for it. But the connection was very bad. No breakfast provided. "I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I was there for two nights after having a business trip to Shanghai and enjoyed my time in this charming city. I have never had a hotel staff be more attentive and helpful in my 25 years of traveling for business. In Shanghai, I stayed at a hotel that cost five times as much as this and no offense to that establishment, but this group of front desk, clerks, and office personnel were the best of my trip. The hotel itself is charming and located in a wonderful neighborhood. I would absolutely stay at this place again. Plus, in an amazing and unprecedented experience as far as my 20 years plus of traveling, they actually did my laundry for me, for free!"

"The most beautiful and enjoyable stay. Hotel is just a year old, the amenities are beautiful. They offer daily cultural experiences like making scent tablets with a master incense maker. Beautiful pool as well although we would’ve enjoyed a warmer pool in early spring. Breakfast amazing, semi- à la carte with a buffet of fruit and pastries. Staff most accomodating as well. I’d really like to come back. The only less desirable thing was when I was loading the car on departure, a staff member came after me for payment of a stock standard canvas shoe bag that I had taken from the room. Those weren’t clearly signposted as for-sale items are usually available to us for taking so it somehow made the experience slightly weird for me especially for the price that we paid. "
