« Cottage was amazing - very well maintained, "traditional" feel to it (original fittings, kitchen etc.). Front screened porch was our favourite place to relax, with an excellent view of the lake. New dock was a great place for morning coffee, and bbq on the side deck with a lake view was also a nice touch. Views from nearly all windows, including master bedroom. Host Erika was very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone for a cozy lake-side stay. »

« Lisa's property was perfect for a winter weekend away from the city. The river was running and beautiful to sit next to, and we used the outdoor firepit and indoor fireplace to make everything really cosy.The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen completely equipped for any kind of cooking we wanted to do. »

« My family had a great weekend stay at the cottage. Overall the cottage was stocked and setup with everything we needed (with the exception of shampoo which I thought the ad stated was provided - I only found a few bars of soap). The beds and linens are crazy comfortable! The large sofa in the living room is perfect for large groups. We had a boat with us so the dock was amazing to have! Overall a great stay! A few details of the cottage are getting a little well used and will need updating...

« Potato island was absolutely perfect for our family, and we had a fun, relaxing week long stay. The cottage is older..rustic but very clean and had everything needed for prepping food. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and peaceful, and we felt so mentally refreshed. The kids swam every day rain or shine, we went canoeing, read books, sat around the camp fire, played games, and the dogs had a blast running around the island. As an owner of three small dogs, this was a huge stress...

« I went there with my family for a vacation for 7days. The house was great The hot tub in the first day doesn’t was clean the water was in there green and smell bad, but the property owner allows us to change the water. The owner was very friendly , but he has a helper who came to the house around 3-4 times and she lying about everything to the owner from us. She’s not a nice person she was with us very rude. Except this “helper women” our stay was great »

« Really lovely few days in this fantastic cottage. It’s got everything you need for a getaway. We got lucky with the weather and enjoyed being outside in the day, fishing or in the canoe, and sitting out looking at the stars at night time with a fire going. Communication with the host was exceptional. Thanks! »
