« We had a fantastic stay at John’s home on Great Sacandaga Lake. The house is small but has everything you need. Very clean and tidy. There’s a beautiful view of the lake directly from the house and the access to the lake is great. You have to cross the street for the access point but there’s a flat grassy area with a fire pit right on the bank. Would definitely stay here again! »

« Much of the typical Lake George activities were closed since we visited during April, but we were very happy to stay here and will definitely return! It was the perfect space for us two (with extra to fit an additional friend or 2). Owner provided towels, pans, grill, coffee, etc for the stay which is greatly appreciated. It was close distance to anywhere we needed to go for groceries, activities, stores! Sad to go but I look forward to future travels here :) »

« Located less than 7 minutes from downtown Lake George, you find yourself surrounded by a nice quiet setting in the woods. Once you get inside, the living / dinning area is spacious. Enough room for everyone to enjoy themselves. The outside deck has a grill ... and the view of the small creek is great. We are coming back! »

« Directly on the lake, you can walk out onto your own private peninsula, fish (I caught two bass in ten minutes), or just enjoy the lounge chairs or couples swing while gazing at the pristine lake or soaking up the fire we made in the brand new fire pit. « Property is very nice and comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The bedrooms had a lot of space, the beds were very comfortable, and the furnishings were very retro, but stately (I love retro style!). Lots of sunshine from the windows. Kitchen is small, but adequate. The front porch was very nice and relaxing - I wish I could’ve enjoyed it longer. I really have no complaints except that I didn’t book a longer stay! I would love to come back to it and stay longer! »

« I was looking for a relaxing waterside house for my family to celebrate several major milestones in my family. The Sunrise cabin was perfect. Clean, roomy, well stocked kitchen, and fun water craft to use on the river. It’s close to other attractions too. David, the host, was available if we needed anything. I will miss greeting the ducks each morning while sipping my coffee by the river. »
