It was a little jaunt away but perfect for privacy and quiet relaxation. The host was very easy to communicate with and let us in a little early too. I should have also asked how to get to the water before we left as that was not very apparent. Host was super. Beautiful area with picturesque mountain lakes, separated from the crowds of Lake George without feeling inconvenient. Some folks (especially ones like us with a younger kid) may want to consider that although the cabin is essentially “on the water” there is no way to walk alongside it on this property. The only access is a long staircase out of the forest leading to a small dock.
