"We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books. "Older style hotel but it is being kept in excellent condition. The staff were all outstandingly helpful and we very much enjoyed our stay. Top marks. Couple of minor negatives. Our room was directly under the Dining area and it was very noisy when people were walking around overhead and the old floors really creaked. Apart from that, we were really happy with our room. It’s only a small thing, we know, but for those who care about their coffee, the expensive looking automatic coffee machine is simply not up to the task."
