Copthorne Hotel Plymouth

"The best thing about this hotel is the wonderful staff who work here. Every single one I met was friendly, pleasant and helpful, providing excellent customer service . The rooms were lovely and comfortable with clean bedding , providing a good nights sleep with a ceiling fan and also a desk fan provided during this heatwave . The breakfast was excellent. These things far outweighed the only 2 things which could be improved - better instructions on how to find the hotel, it’s main entrance and car park (there were a number of us who had spent a long time trying to find them or ended up in Sainsbury’s car park by mistake) .The other was a bit of floor level dust which our 2 year found in a couple of her hide and seek places ! Overall though this hotel is one of the most enjoyable I’ve ever stayed in"

"We had a sea view room that was an unbelievable view. Our room was clean and had the best bed we’d ever slept in! Like sleeping in a cloud. The staff are friendly and helpful. Salcombe town is a (complimentary) 10 min bus shuttle ride away or take a water ferry. We have loved the spa too. We will be back next year. Can’t wait to book again."

“Seawards”. House with panoramic sea views, set directly above the SW Coast Path

10/10 Excellent
"Wow what can I say the property is amazing, beautifully furnished throughout and very clean. The views are breathtaking and stunning. Million dollar views that's for sure. Probably the best view we have ever had. The property is well equipped with fun extras such as a paddle board. That was a huge bonus and so much fun. Mark is an excellent host, warm and friendly with great communication from start to finish, providing useful and helpful information along the way. We really did feel at home staying at Seawards. Mark was very generous by allowing us to stay an extra day, which was amazing. The location is beautiful quiet and very dog friendly which was great. Exploring the rock pools was so much fun for everyone. This location is perfect for everyone whether you want a quiet getaway just to absorb the stunning views from the house or whether you want a family fun filled holiday. We also visited the Eden Project which was a 45 minute drive away from the property, an excellent family day out with the dog, although dogs are not allowed inside the biomes. Looe is also a lovely place to visit just a short drive away, the harbour is beautiful there are plenty of shops cafes and restaurants. There are also amazing walks for the family and for dogs. Everyone is so friendly in Seaton we really didn't want to leave we had a memorable stay it was very special and we hope to return again sometime soon."
