Helpful friendly staff, great cooked breakfast, room was clean & comfortable. It ticked all the boxes. However the hotel is situated by a busy main road and you can hear the noise of the traffic at night ! Ear plugs needed !

Staff were so helpful, especially lily who made such a difference to our stay, placing our rooms together with adjoining doors. And she sorted out our drink vouchers. She’s a gem! Great hotel, really central and comfortable. Will come back for sure. Thank you!

Stayed here many times. Excellent stay as always. Great breakfast too professional staff. Only one complaint….the duty manageress who checked me in was a little abrupt and curt. She was busy I accept but was lacking in professionalism. Otherwise all good.

Clean room friendly staff. Only downside was toiletries in shower were watered down and practically empty. Luckily I had brought my own toiletries. There was a connecting door in my room to the one next door. I could hear their TV late into the night so little bit disruptive

Always stay here when visiting family in Plymouth. Great location, easy for the shops and restaurants, everything is within walking distance. Nice rooms, bar area, hotel is well kept, would recommend.

Excellent service from the receptionist on the day! We were attending the wedding and after speaking to the member of the reception team in the day, we were checked-in early, which allowed us to change clothes, leave the luggage, park the car and leave it there, get a taxi and enjoy the day. Check in was easy and parking underneath the hotel was good price Our room was clean with king size bed and everything we needed for a one night stay We appreciated the complimentary vouchers for a drink at the bar and coffee the next morning Our only issue was the carpet by the bathroom door was damp and the bathroom smelt a little ‘off’ We did mention this on check out so hopefully it will be sorted (room 228)

Loved the fact my partner and I had a double bed each in the same room. We need single beds but to find the room had 2 doubles giving us a fabulous sleep was a bonus. We were visiting friends so cannot comment on other aspects of the hotel as out for most of the time. Great position, walking to the Barbican was easy too.
