Had a lovely sea view from the bedroom window. Coffee and tea making facilities were ok. Room cleanliness was acceptable. Ended up bleeding the radiator as it was banging. Staff were lovely - so polite and welcoming.

A little disappointed

In general had a good time at the hotel, got let down once when we came down for breakfasts to be told their is no breakfasts today the chef is ill, only coffee tea and fruit juice, had to drive out to get breakfast which was not good considering we already paid for bed and breakfast , the same day we had evening meal but the chicken was so well done we had to leave it. So to conclude Room 10 out of 10 Staff 10 out of 10 Hotel 10 out of 10 Kitchen 3 out of 10

Could have been a great night away but let down by some poor service. We checked in and immediately booked for dinner that evening. We have a couple of beers whilst sat in the sun, it was lovely. Then there was a power cut about 5ish No fault of their own but they decided that they had no option than to close for the rest of the day. We were stranded un able to drive as we had had a drink. They knew our situation as we had asked what was going on but there was no offer of any sort of food or drink, couldnt even shower or freshnen up. Just told to try and order a takeaway from somewhere. After failing to find any where willing to deliver to us one of girls (sophie i think) offered to go and pick us up some sausage and chips from the nearest chippy. If it wasnt for her we wouldnt have had any food until breakfast. They wouldnt let us have another drink until we complained as they had let a couple of locals have 2 bottles of beer so we had 1 more drink at 530 and that was it. Apart from sophie, unhelpful, no appology or any sort of effort to help us or make a bad situation a little bit better!! Really poor!! I do have to say that power came back about 830 ish and then we did manage to have a couple of drinks then! some of the staff kyle, keelan & a couple of others did keep us company & did make a real effort to make a bit of an evening of it which we really appreciated! Just a shame some of the other managers werent as willing to make the effort!

if you are umming and erring about staying here, just do it if not for the great food the even better staff, then for the location, I only stayed for one night and i already want to go back. would recommend highly. will be going back, great value for money too. stop hesitating and book it, oooo and take your dog!!! theyll love it too

Amazing place!

Had a really lovely few days at The Inn on the Shore. Such a wonderful hotel! All staff were really lovely, nothing was too much trouble especially Dave, Ke & Sahrya. Dave gave us lots of ideas of places to visit. Food was always delicious! Would definitely recommend to anyone!! Will definitely visit again
