If you can tear yourself away from this spellbinding haven, the local area offers much to explore from the beauty of Looe, with its harbour and narrow streets to the picturesque village of Polperro, with its pretty cottages. Fowey, where a million shades of green meet the sea, has boutique shops, restaurants and pubs. The hot tub is well maintained and perfect to unwind from busy days out around Cornwall. Paul the host was on hand when we arrived and instantly contactable. This is a true gem and we would return in a heartbeat. The only point of note was the initial booking experience via VRBO where the systems didn’t confirm booking - I contacted cottages.com to finalise booking which included extending our stay by another day.
