"We loved our stay at Strand however I was incredbily disappointed when my flight was delayed and I have decided to pay for an extra night since I was arriving on the red eye and couldnt check in until 3. When I arrived at 9 they told me they considered me a no show. They gave me a room and told me bo problem… only yo charge me 265 for a no show fee. I was not told this when I checked in. After dealing witg a nasty front desk manager .. we were met by the hotel manager who assured us this would be removed. That should have been done from the start . There was no reason to get all upset for this. They need to fix this policy"

"This hotel is very conveniently located near the Tower Hill Tube station and walking distance from the Tower of London and many other sites (Tower Bridge, London Bridge, etc.). The staff were very helpful and welcoming.The hotel itself is very unique and Modern in design with plenty of spaces to hangout/r lax outside your hotel room. I was a bit concerned that the hotel room may be a bit too tight however was not the case perfect size with the largest hotel bed I think I've ever slept in. The room was clean the lighting in the room was a nice surprise feature that one would enjoyed a lot more than you think. Overall fantastic stay and would not hesitate to book a room here again!"

"The location of this hotel is what draws people there. The rooms are small, but you are in the location for the sites, not to stay in the room. It is a very busy hotel. The lobby is always busy. It is currently undergoing renovations, which makes the lobby look even smaller. The staff are very helpful, but we found that the housekeeping was lacking. We had run out of tissues, toilet paper, and towels. The room we were in got sun all day long (and the summer days in London are very long), so we had to keep the curtains drawn to help keep the room cooler because the air conditioners did not go lower than 72 degrees F. The food was delicious, the drinks were delightful, the staff very friendly, and the view beautiful! I would definitely stay there again."

"This is a clean and efficiently run "inn" with helpful staff. The rooms are basic, as in a clean place to sleep and shower with very little amenities. The extra I paid for the larger room was worth it. A garden patio eating area is very charming. We could hear the subtle sounds of the underground when sleeping, so if that bothers you, beware. Otherwise it's actually soothing."

"Very well located hotel with oldish modern boutique feel from a while ago. That said, the rebranded hotel has a good vibe and rooms are confortable and spacious for London. Perfect for business new the insurance hub without the overwhelming vibe of the big bands."

"This ibis was a well kept facility and the staff was helpful and polite. The breakfast was pretty good and filling. Had more items than your typical European breakfast. I will say there is no AC in the rooms and it has been unseasonably warm the past few weeks. For the rates paid for the rooms, I table top fan would be much appreciated."
