"This hotel is in a fantastic location! The rooms are lovely, and the staff is amazing. The concierge is incredibly helpful for any inquiries that you may have. The location puts you within walking distance of some of the best shopping on the planet, broadway shows, and Central Park."

Moxy NYC Chelsea

Moxy NYC Chelsea

8/10 Good
"Overall I would stay here probably everytime I return compared to other places we have stayed. Location, overall ease and access to everything within and outside the hotel access to subway etc all good. Staff overall excellent. No one is perfect - I did have a negative comment by one staff who was frustrated and one staff was alittle rude so I just avoided her from that point and the others were beyond nice. Room service was slower than other hotels when calling for something but nothing can’t deal with and call again if needed. Have to learn hotel elevators half go to roof half don’t but overall elevators were not a problem on time either once that is learned. Lastly had to learn that if I had waited 24 hours to get car out of valet I wouldn’t have been double charged that day many people may know this already some don’t otherwise excellent I will likely stay here everytime because it was nothing I couldn’t handle very worth it overall nice inside and gym was very very nice has two Peletons and very clean decent size, machines, benches and weights. The flower district is beautiful and roof top displays pretty floors and scenery."

8/10 Good
"Cliff notes: Decent place, spacious room and comfortable bed, but elevator wait times are extreme. GIVE YOURSELF 5–15 EXTRA MINS FOR THE ELEVATOR, especially around check-in and checkout. I would stay again for the price. Details: I would stay here again because the price was good, the room was spacious and appeared clean. The photos are a little misleading when it comes to the view, as I couldn’t find anything resembling the view pictured while I was there. Some of the staff were extremely warm and friendly and some not so much. The room didn’t have a mini refrigerator, which isn’t a big deal and is somewhat common in NYC, but the ice machines on most floors didn’t work and there was no plastic bag in the ice bucket. One important note: It could take 10–15 minutes to get an elevator around check-in and checkout times. There is something really weird about the elevators. Multiple times I was waiting with 10+ people for an elevator going down, only for one to arrive and then go up. One time about eight of us got on anyway and ended up joking about it together. I wasn’t in a rush, so it wasn’t a huge issue for me and I’d deal with it again to save some money. But if you’re claustrophobic or need to be somewhere at a specific time, just be warned."
