« Charming motel and nice grounds. Room very basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were great. Food truck had very tasty options. It was nice to grab our supper from the truck along with a couple beers from the bar and hang out on the deck. We will stay here again when back in the area. »

« This is a cute little chalet. It slept the four of us just fine. Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. Also, outdoor chairs were dirty and filled with spider webs. »

« This hotel is nice and in a beautiful location. It is close to Main Street Blowing Rock with its many shops and restaurants. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed for renovations which we did not know when we booked. That was a disappointment. If you like to travel with your dog, this is the place for you. »

« Only issue was that my reservation was incorrect and I had to wait over an hour for them to locate my correct reservation. Expedia indicated to them it was in the system and they indicated it was not. It was finally resolved when the manager realized she had access to an aspect of the system that the front desk clerk did not. And lord and behold the reservation was in her system. »

« The linens seemed clean and the room and been dusted. I expect the carpet was vacuumed, but it had several large stains in it. The curtain rod was about to fall from the wall on the right-hand side. The towel rack from the shower door was broken off. I found it in the room, and was able to put it back on the shower door. However, this isn't something a guest should need to do. The part of the sink drain which allows you to hold or release water from the sink was not hooked up. The room...
