« I have been to a lot of hotels all over the world and the Horton is my 3rd favorite! The staff members were all extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast was amazing. The interior design is exquisite, they skimmed on nothing. They are so attentive to the details too, like coffee and snack stations on the upper floors. The rooftop area is really beautiful with spectacular views. Love the Horton!! »

« Blowing Rock is a beautiful little town. Unfortunately, big conglomerates are buying up the small hotel properties, and the personal service that was once the rule is now lacking entirely. We stayed at Azalea Inn and were disappointed. To start, we had to go to a different property to check in. During our whole stay, there was never any staff onsite at Azalea. The grounds are lovely, but it's an old building. We stayed in a "deluxe" room for our anniversary, but had to climb a dark, smelly...
