These spacious condos are great for two families or families with children, each with their own space to enjoy. The main floor features a fully equipped kitchen, inviting living room with gas log fireplace, primary bedroom, bathroom and ½ bath. Access to the covered deck is provided from the living room or the primary bedroom as well as the mountain views. The primary bedroom is spacious with the primary bathroom attached. Located downstairs is another living room area with cozy gas log fireplace as well as the guest bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room. There is also access to the covered deck downstairs through the living room or guest bedroom. This condo is downstairs with stair access only (7 stairs total). Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing. Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University. If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Excellent for our family - grandparents family of 3 including a toddler. Lots of space to relax upstairs and downstairs.Beds were comfortable. Sheets were nice. Extra blankets were perfect too. Plenty of space for a couple more guest if needed. The road is steep and much windier than I anticipated but parking was flat and easy for this rental which was perfect. The condo was spotless and, being in a part of the development that is less congested, very quiet. Everything about our stay was comfortable: as a point of information I will mention that the mattresses, although nice quality, are quite plushy. We are used to very firm mattresses and this was an adjustment for us. The condo is in a great location for exploring the area. A moment of Mom praise: the condo has a good old fashioned washing machine with an agitator and a tub that actually fills with water! It is hard to understand from the description that the condo is on the lower levels of the building (each building has four condos, two up and two down). Once you are inside however you can’t tell and it doesn’t feel like the level it appears to be from the entrance. Each floor within the condo has a bedroom, full bath, living area, and porch.
