"It was a pleasant experience. The whole concept of the Ridge is a great idea. The atmosphere was very peacefully. I was traveling alone and was a little concerned at times. The other door that doesn’t lock was quite concerning. The water pressure and Wi-Fi were the only bad things I can say but in the scheme of things, compared to 1850 it was luxurious. I would stay again but not alone."

"I have previously stayed at this location when it was operated as a bed and breakfast, this time it is only a lodging spot with complimentary drinks which was conveyed in the listing. The home is lovely and easily located in Orange, with quick access to many historical areas. While the Fenton is listed as having a bathroom, which it does, it is a tiny water closet at best. There is no standard size mirror or sink, the shower is also quite small. Overall, our stay was fine, but I did not like the...

"Wonderful dock for boats, and we had great waterskiing at the north end of the lake. Incredibly responsive hosts. Home was beautiful and had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our whole large group. Would stay there again!!!"

"Amenities not as listed and we were not notified before check-in:First floor shower not usable - shower was covered with a tarp with note "under construction"Deck was not accessible - note on slider "do not use deck"Hot tub had been removedThe worst part was that the floors had not been vacuumed.
