"Not much of aview from our window"

"Beautiful room, newly renovated. Very quiet in the evening. Air conditioning, excellent bed. Room had bottled water, packaged cookies and even a couple of chocolates. Have been on the road for 16 days (from BC on our way to Nova Scotia), this has been by far the best room we’ve stayed in. "

"Staff was extremely kind and spoke very good english (we dont speak french very well). La Fontain attached restaurant was fast, decent food and the extremely kind staff provided us with service in english as well as english menus! Our room (122) was small, but perfect for one night stay. Parking directly infront of the room was a huge plus. Updated, clean bathroom, fridge and coffee with a small common cooking area with microwave, ice, cutlery etc right outside of our room. 4 comfy pillows on the queen bed made for a comfortable sleep. TV had many channels with a lot of english options! The only downside was the construction during our stay but that is at no fault to the hotel. Many restaurants, gas stations and stores close by! We would definitely return."

"Motel Le Martinet albsoltely lives up to all the great reviews. My "vintage room" was impeccably clean, with new bed, sofa & bathroom. Nothing dingy about it at all which is always the traveller's fear with older establishments. The vintage feel is part of this motel's charm. The young woman at reception was very friendly & welcoming. Although I didn't stay for breakfast, I saw there was a nice variety of food. Great place to stop on the way to the east coast - not far off the highway and easy to find. But still in a quiet area for a good night's sleep. I'll definitely be back! "
