"This hotel is such a gem. We loved having coffee on the lanai each morning with the ocean crashing on the sea wall below. Just beautiful. It was quiet at night and we were able to walk into town for dinner/shopping. It’s a great base for the west side of the island—we stayed for a week and did so much but always enjoyed returning to the hotel for a dip in the wonderfully refreshing salt water pool or just to relax on the lanai. Highly recommend! "

As frequent visitors to Hawaii and former vacation rental owners, we were thoroughly impressed. Captain Mark is a superb host, with excellent communication and a warm, helpful local team. Check-in was flawless, and responses to questions came within moments.The setting is truly breathtaking: the pool sits on a peninsula with panoramic ocean views, overlooking a vibrant natural aquarium filled with sea turtles, colorful fish, and more. The home feels both spacious and private, with thoughtful features like a first-floor walk-in shower and ramp to the pool—perfect for our elderly parents.Despite mid-July heat, the home remained cool thanks to ocean breezes, large fans, and bi-fold doors—no air-conditioning needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we lacked nothing in two weeks.
