This beautiful and well equipped home awaits you! Granite counters, tile floors and a wonderful king size bed are great, but you were drawn here to be on the ocean. Relax on the lanai as the ocean breeze refreshes you. Watch and listen as the surf splashes against the seawall. Look out for dolphins, turtles. and, in season, whales. The condo is well equipped to make your stay here most enjoyable. We are always working on upgrades, so the pictures may not always show the newest upgrades. Cable for high speed internet and the flat screen tv is a must. The kitchen is ready for the chef to prepare their specialties, or maybe you have ordered some take out and dine al fresco watching the sun set over the ocean. Plenty of parking is around and usually steps away from the front door. Ground floor entry, no stairs, is especially welcome by seniors, parents with young children and those with much luggage. There is a grill just outside, at the communal area. Sea Village is a well designed and maintained complex. Tropical plants and gardens are throughout the property. The pool and spa area are Oceanside in the center of the property. Next to those are the outdoor dining area with gas grills. A great place to gather and meet new friends. At the entrance to Sea Village is The Green Flash Cafe. This is an amazing place. It is small and everything is made fresh for you. Kailua Village is less than a mile away. A leisurely 20-30 minute walk, if you are so inclined, or a 3 minute drive. There is lots of free parking behind the many shops and restaurants. You can also catch the Kona Trolley. The nearest stop is just feet away from the complex. Many book to return yearly, so pick your dates and let us know for availability. One tiny step up, but not lugging luggage up and down stairs. The balcony is the real stunner here and it will give you beautiful sunset views and all day gorgeous ocean views. The AC is in the living room, so it does get a bit stuffy in the bedroom, but not bad. We ended up walking downtown to Kona because it was only 17m and seemed easier than driving and finding/paying for parking. Really enjoyed our stay! ##### Jessica J. Easy parking and access. Property clean; good for two people. The lanai shades do not work; the pole to operate the shade is rusted/broken. Also, the shade itself is rusted and will not roll at all. Would have been nice to use the shades in the afternoon when the sun/heat is an issue. Nice beach gear to use! Chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear. Probably need a vehicle to get most places. A/C doesn’t quite reach the bedroom, but it was quite hot while we were there with no breeze, so I would say it’s probably not normally an issue. Pool area is nice. Everything we needed was on hand - plenty of towels, bottled water, dishes, beach stuff, etc Would definitely recommend. Ground level Lanai faces water with no obstruction. As a first time visitor to Hawaii I think those would be helpful since we drove around and never able to get in the beach area because of parking and then to find out when we found a beach with parking it was not swimmable at all. There technically is an AC, but it can't reach down to the bedroom and shuts off randomly throughout the night, so the space warms up quickly. We tried to make a row of fans to push air down the hallway, but it was a cumbersome approach that didn't really help much. The view of the ocean from the large sliding doors from the living room to the balcony was just beautiful. The balcony is a peaceful place to have breakfast/coffee or even dinner. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to relax when not on an excursion somewhere. My only “complaint” is that even with fans the bedroom was still a little warm for us, but I get that temperature is a personal preference. The main living area cools very nicely with the ac unit. Owner was great with timely communication about check in and expectations for leaving the unit was not a crazy list of to dos, very reasonable! Everything we needed was at the unit (we had our own toiletries but we noticed a lot of things already there in the linen closet). It's super close to the ocean, and the sunset is visible daily. We aired out the unit daily by leaving both the lanai doors and the front door open; the screens on both looked to be in great condition and worked well to keep large bugs out. The property was more or less exactly as pictured. It's not exactly clean, but it was clean enough. There were items left behind from past guests, and the kitchen cabinets were disorganized. The bedroom and bathroom were also poorly positioned in the unit, so they essentially got no meaningful airflow. I'm personally not a fan of the decorations, but that's highly subjective. The AC unit worked very well, but we didn't need it because of the great airflow through the open lanai and the front doors. One thing to note for sensitive sleepers is that this unit is on the ground floor, so you will likely hear all the people waking up in the morning, stomping down the stairs, and slamming doors. At night, the property is brightly lit. I personally considered that a negative point as I wanted to be able to stargaze at night since the air was so clear during our stay. With that being said, the night sky was still sufficiently dark. The location is great! It's super close to the hustle and bustle of Kailua-Kona while remaining very quiet and peaceful. Fantastic weather on this side of the island as well, but it was pretty hot even in mid-November. Finally, as I've mentioned, the view is amazing! ##### Brendon C.
