9.2/10 Wonderful! (248 reviews)
It’s not the best set up when you arrive, having to take a mini elevator with your luggage already makes you wonder if this is a real hotel, the building doesn’t have any sign outside letting you know that’s your destination, I guess it’s just so old fashioned, but I felt punked for a minute. Our room was two buildings down and it required the front door, gate, another door upstairs before entering an area where your room is, not practical, and you have to go up a. Level to catch another mini elevator to your floor, and then go up walking another level. The AC is very poor in the room, not strong enough at all for the summer heat in Rome. The location is very good and breakfast was fine, cute patio outside to sit and have breakfast. Front desk guys act like this is just a job, not realizing they are the face of the hotel! There is an older gentleman that helps you to your room that is very helpful and hard working, Maybe this is a very old fashioned European way of hosting but I will definitely confirm that it’s a regular hotel setting next time, overall I feel is way to much to just get to your room and not very air conditioned when you get in! Never again!
