I took off a star for the noise.
The reviews I read did mention that the bar on the main floor of the restaurant could get loud but I asked both at the booking and the week prior to our stay if we could be on the quieter side of the building but unfortunately we were right over top.
The base from the music was particularly loud so ear plugs did not help. It ended around 12:20am so if you stay up late then it may not be an issue for you,
Staff were great, room was clean, bed was comfy and parking was included so there were lots of good things.

Great experience, staff was really nice especially Charlie who helped with early check in and allowed for our request for a specific room type. The property itself was clean and nice and very quiet. Will be back! Thanks!

The room was clean and tidy, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. We felt like home. Not the first time at Tantalus Lodge - we love coming back here. There are nice amenities - hot tub and pools that we enjoyed as well.
