This hostel exceeded expectations! We LOVED it, we never usually stay in hostels but wanted to save some money on our Iceland trip and stumbled across this accomodation!! It is clean and friendly staff. The room is nice and cosy , with windows to ventilate. The kitchen is really well equipped and spacious. We highly recommend this place !!!

Modern, clean, spacious and great value!
This was the best guesthouse we stayed in during our week long trip. Modern, clean, spacious and with a kitchen that has literally everything you can think of! Plenty of seating area in dining room. Room itself was great , good number of bathrooms that are pretty clean and spacious!

I would consider this the BEST place I stayed at on my Ring Road trip in Iceland. Spotless, super clean rooms. Nice kitchen with fridge, stoves, toaster, and sinks. Property is in a very quiet area. Lots of parking to be had outside. A 24 hour N1 Gas Station is super close to the property so you can walk there for snacks & coffee if you'd like. You can also walk a little further up the road and go to Netto for basic groceries. I honestly don't have a single negative thing to say about this property.

There is free car park just outside the hostel. You will have a basin in each room which is good. The price is affordable. The facility is clean and comfortable. The cons is the surrounding is not dark enough to watch for northern light.

New property with all the amenities including a deck and two propane BBQ’s. Spacious shared areas and bedrooms. Beautiful area, great walking town with pathway on the waterfront and golf course. Friendly staff! Awesome place to stay!

Family of 4 travelling on the ring road circle. We arrived very late and the staff is kind enough to leave us key cards and note to enter the room. Facilities are modern and very clean. Community kitchen area is well equipped. I would suggest to have an additional toaster as everyone’s waiting for the one toaster in the morning to toast their bread. We had a great night of sleep. Would highly recommend this place!

Incredible property. Reception stayed late to accommodate an unplanned late check in for not additional cost. Immaculately clean, tidy, and organized. Would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Höfn.

By far the best hostel I’ve stayed in. Very well equipped kitchen, 3 sinks, 3 stove/ovens, plenty of cookware! The place was very clean and staff were friendly. Very modern with lots of upgrades.

this a a very nice BIg hotel works like a perfect tune machine. everything was super clean and in well shape. the only down side which is a personal thing is that since is a big hostal went is full the kitchen and common areas can get crowded

Everything about our stay was first rate. Greeted warmly with a tour of property. The place is spotless. The kitchen and dining facilities are all extremely nice and has enough kitchen equipment and space for multiple cooks. Hostel is situated in a lovely quiet neighborhood.

The property was well maintained and clean. The only issue we had was that our room smelled terrible. But we suspect it was the sulphur in the water rather than any fault on the part of the management. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and it was easy for us to find things. They had coffee and hot water all the time which was very helpful.

We spent just one night but we loved the accommodation. As a family of 3 we booked a private room with a private bathroom and loved the space. The hostel itself is very clean and in a residential neighbourhood. Everyone who was staying was very nice and the communal kitchen was easily accessible to everyone. We walked to the town and that was very doable. The town is quiet but there are a number of things to see in the area. We really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend it.

I loved that everyone was required to take off their shoes at the entrance itself. The communal kitchen was exceptional with multiple cooktops, sinks and work surfaces. The common areas were lively and a great place to meet new friends. Bathrooms were spotless and the rooms were super clean. Best part for me was there is a small hill right outside, near the parking lot. we climbed it and got a great view of 5 glaciers coming down from the Vatnajokull ice cap!

This was a very nice place to stay for our family of four. There was a big kitchen that everyone was welcome to share. The smells from the kitchen were amazing and there was a fridge to store our stuff in. One group was making a leg of lamb! We loved seeing everyone relaxing and enjoying the common areas. We found our room with a private bath very clean and comfortable. The surrounding area is terrific with gas stations, restaurants etc.

this might be my favourite place of the whole iceland trip! place was very newly renovated, the kitchen looks newer than in the photos. free cookies, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate provided. the entire place was very nice and I'll gladly come back again.

This was hands down the nicest property we stayed at in Iceland. Impeccable facilities, very comfortable room, super friendly staff, and wonderful social atmosphere (even in the off- season)! Will absolutely stay again next time I'm in Höfn!!
