Cabins were clean and cozy, probably the comfiest mattress I slept on durning my trip. Each cabin had a small mini fridge and the shared bathrooms were only a 30 second walk away. Restaurant on site was good as well, friendly staff and delicious food. The waterfall is overlooks was stunning. There were three radiators so we were warm. The property is beautiful and the staff was welcoming and accommodating. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both were fantastic. With a very nice of of the water and the pods are clean and cute not to mention the relaxing 3 hot tubs availble in the area. Kitchen are cleane and spacious. Stayed in small camping pod and loved it. Loved the atmosphere there. Overall, much greater than I expected, and I already was excited for the stay. the restaurant overlooking the waterfalls and river, the troll garden stroll, the hot tubs. All superb. It is in a remote area and provided us an excellent view of the northern lights, which we watched from the hot tub. Good amenities and pods are warm and comfortable. Great view from restaurant and some quirky mess that was fun to investigate. Food was ok but that’s Iceland… everyday food with high prices…. Gorgeous waterfall area on the property, good breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Very peaceful area. Stayed in the camping pod, very basic but had a comfortable bed. The mini fridge in my room only could fit maybe one can of soda and it didn't seem to work, and the shower was a communal shower and make sure you bring shower shoes it did not look like it was deep cleaned in a long time, but it if you consider you are essentially camping its really not a big deal. Spa tubs were nice as well but only open limited hours. Car parked adjacent to your pod. Private enough despite all surrounding pods being occupied. Paid additional for supplied linen and towel - very basic and looked well used/tired. Towels were good. Shared showers involved two open showers next to each other in a small room - did not use as did not have appropriate footwear. A number of private toilets scattered around the site. Overall found the shower/bathroom underwhelming and was glad to move onto our next accommodation.
