She also gave us some interesting facts about crescent city...great jon angela 😀 The hotel is dated but was fine forntgevtwo nights we stayed. It was quirky. Great lo To explore the area. Breakfast was basic but ok to set you off for the day."

"The front desk staff offered a great place to eat. The room was newly renovated. We could see the beach and water from our window. We were there on the second night of a tsunami alert and they provided information on evacuation. Luckily it did not come to that! One aspect we did not like was the use of a virtual assistant. You can't beat real people who know the area."

"I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were. It is definitely one of those older stucco motel buildings, so I was a little leary about booking a room there. But the rooms are really, really, nice. "

"Such a beautiful place to stay in Crescent City California. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodated all of our needs. The kids loved swimming in the indoor heated pool and taking a walk on the beach. The sunset from the room was amazing. I was worried about the reviews I read on hotels.com but we had a really good experience. There was 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 children. The room was just right and we felt very comfortable. My son is special needs and we worried about safety with the balcony, but the door had a screw at the bottom that secures the slider. The only thing we couldn’t get to work was the jets in our tub but other than that, it was a great stay. Thank you Oceanfront Lodge. Hope to see you all soon! "
