"Spacious room. Lots of counter space. Lots of plugs. Big fridge with freezer section. Friendly staff. Beautiful lobby with sea motif and Victorian houses. Close to the lighthouse, and microbreweries. Continental breakfast. Laundry room available. A very pleasant place to stay and unwind. "

"The employees were nice. No elevator so not good for my bad knee. The hot tub in my room looked dingy so I didn’t use it. The room was decent but not super clean. The comforter was old and worn out. I probably won’t stay here again especially for the price I paid for the room. "

"This is a 2 star motel. We booked a room with a garden view which turn out to be a view of 101 freeway so the noise of cars passing by was loud and constant. Consider booking a room facing the ocean if you are staying here. The room had a mini refrigerator with a freezer but the microwave is shared and located near the front office. The room had a stale, dusty and musty smell. The bathroom fan did not work, the toilet paper holder is broken so the toilet paper was constantly falling, the toilet seat did not fit (it was too big for the bowl),the sink barely drained and the curtain pole was broken on one side so the curtains did not close completely.The "do not disturb sign" was not available to use and there was no separate shampoo and conditioner provided only "shampoo/conditioning 10ml/ 0.35oz) packets" which was not enough to clean one's hair after a long day of hiking. The motel did provide free bottle water and sodas as well as snacks, tea and coffee. It is also located directly on the beach and close to Cresant City and the entrance to Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park."

"I liked that they have standing shower instead of tub and the water pressure also was very good. The parking spaces were quite wide. The bed mattress was nice and firm. Very close to beach as well. There was nothing not to like."
