"We stayed in room 27. The room smelled of chemical. We had to get spray to get rid of the smell. I got a bottle of the bleach and wipe down the entire room. There were rusts on the shower head cover, dry racks, towel rack and black stains on the heater. I rubbed it and it did not come off. The mattress was hard. We paid for two night. We did not have a good experience. We decided to stay for only one night. I will never stay at that place again."

"Wonderful host who was very welcoming and tried to make sure we knew how to get around (visiting the Redwoods!) Very close to Jeremiah Smith Redwoods... Fresh eggs in the fridge straight from the flock downstairs! The Hideaway is a great, secure basecamp for spending a couple of days in the redwoods."
