"Very limited breakfast , no cereal no eggs just yogurt and waffles and toast and fruit . On line everything looked modern and new and that is not what I walked into, smelled old and musty and could hear people yelling all night. They did start renovations so hopefully it imporves by alot , no pool as described on line "

"We have stayed at this hotel a few times over past 20 years or so. I believe our last time was just after a renovation and actually was quite nice then. I do not believe it has been renovated since that time (not sure of year, maybe 2009?). The room this time was just "okay". It was fairly clean but definite signs of wear (paint chipping, water damage on bathroom floor, no shower curtain liner, TV remote didn't not work correctly, etc.). Also, contrary to amenities listed on website - no secure wifi and no breakfast available. Strangely, our room was located right next to a couple who was obviously living (or extended staying?) in their room and they even had a dog. Granted, they and their dog did not bother us. The hotel is obviously big enough such that they could have given us a room away from that. If they can manage another renovation and improve amenities, we will likely consider staying there again next time we're in Kennett."
