"Not fancy but clean and very conveniently located to Acadia National Park (short drive or take Island Hopper) and Bar Harbor Shops and Restaurants (walking distance) Susie at front desk very helpful! Every night after dinner we walked the path along the shore and back to the motel. Second time we have stayed here! Will be back! "

"Best time ever"

"Our room was conveniently located on the ground floor and we were able to park right outside the sliding glass doors, making it really easy to unload luggage. The desk staff was very friendly and the bed was excellent. The in-room refrigerator was blissfully quiet, and the "grab and go" breakfast had excellent options. Best of all, there's a Thai restaurant immediately adjacent! We were very happy with our stay, and its convenience to access Acadia National Park."

"This was a great choice for our family of two adults, three teenagers and two dogs. The location was close enough to Bar Harbor without the high cost of lodging. The rooms are newly renovated with efficiency kitchens. The full size refrigerator allowed us to stock up on food from Walmart and eat throughout of four night stay, which saved us a lot of money. The daily breakfast had a lot of hearty offerings. The afternoon cookies in the lobby were an added treat. This hotel offers a gym and soon their pool will reopen. All employees from Katie at the front desk to the ladies in housekeeping were all so pleasant and nice to speak with. Even from my first phone call to this hotel to add my dogs to the reservafion, everyone was always so polite and professional. I'm glad we chose Hawthorn Suites for our time while visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor. We had a great four nights here. If we ever come back to Acadia, we would not hesistate to rebook another stay here! "
