« Great solo trip option and completely as advertised. Nice spot for getting to the National Park especially the less explored Schoodic Peninsula but not a taxing drive to Mount Desert Island either. Great small town with several eating options along the main road. Cabin was nice for charging devices and keeping drinks cold and refreezing ice packs. Even the portapotty was clean! « Plenty of space for our family of 9. Kitchen was well equipped. Granddaughter loved the wooden ship play set. Bicycles and kayaks were great additions to amenities and were enjoyed but some needed maintenance for improved comfort would be good. Hot tub was very well chlorinated. »

« Quiet, quaint, rustic cottage on large property with tons of privacy - couldn’t even see any neighbors from the cottage. We visited in the off-season and there were 6 of us adults with 2 dogs. « Location, cleanliness, amenities were all a 10, but the downstairs bed was hard as a rock, and the others were so so. Comfortable beds are a must, Invest in some better bedding and this place would be a perfect 10. I would also suggest a queen sized bed for the downstairs bedroom. Otherwise we had a great vacation visiting Acadia and the surrounding area. »

« We planned our New England trip by starting off in Bar Harbor to unwind, and that's exactly what we did. Byron's home was the perfect place to unplug and reconnect. We arrived Saturday night from NJ and were up and out Sunday morning by 6am to catch the sunrise and take a Sightseeing cruise.
