"Great location....easy walking distance to historic downtown Lee's Summit. Enjoyed a stroll into town to grab a coffee and experience the local farmer's market. It was an easy drive to the big city (Kansas City) as well...enjoyed a Royals baseball game, visited the Nego Leagues Baseball Museum, and perused the Harry Truman Presidential Library. Also enjoyed using the swing on the front porch on a warm Midwest evening. It was a great hub for visiting family and experiencing the greater KC area."

"The room was clean and quiet. We had a good sleep. It would have been nice to have a working bathroom fan. It got very steamy while showering. The coffee and breakfast were not very good. The staff was kind and friendly, but it would have been nice to have a bell at the counter at check in because we had to wait for someone to show up for a minute or two when we were checking in. Overall, good stay!"

"The grounds surrounding the historic buildings were immaculate and picturesque. It would be a beautiful place to host an event and take magical pictures, We had fun exploring with the grandchildren. However the hotel itself needs updating. The staff was very friendly and helpful but a few things were dissapointing. The beds were very uncomfortable. I had to cut our visit short so that was very disappointing. Wished I could have spent all the time in the common spaces that were so peaceful but after full days we needed a goodnight sleep and we felt we got short end with hard beds. They had wonderful front desk and very helpful staff."
