"The motel itself was nice. It included a pool, which is a delight on a 107-degree day! The AC is also very good. Right across the driveway from the office is a friendly, reasonably priced family-style restaurant, very handy! The streets around it are pretty terrifying, though. The motel and restaurant are are a sharp, awkwardly angled intersection, with one-way streets on both sides, and very few safe pedestrian crossings -- the real California experience, I suppose!"
